Job summary

First American Mortgage Solutions is hiring appraisers to conduct unbiased property valuations across the United States from a remote setting. You will analyze data, prepare value estimates, and document findings with photos, measurements, and comparables.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and an active appraiser license or state certification. You will collaborate with a Lead Appraiser and participate in regular meetings while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active Appraiser license or state certification required.
• 0-1 years of related mortgage/appraisal experience preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines while working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unbiased property value assessments using market data.
• Document on-site assessments with photos, measurements and comparables.
• Draw land diagrams and create visual documentation.
• Consider factors influencing value such as land, neighborhoods and trends.
• Generate fee quotes and present evaluations to clients and agents.
• Collaborate with Lead Appraiser to resolve requests and improve processes.
• Participate in monthly Appraiser meetings and meet turnaround times.
