Job summary

First American Mortgage Solutions is hiring certified appraisers nationwide to support our valuation services team. This remote role conducts unbiased property assessments, analyzes data, and develops value estimates in line with guidelines.

You will document observations with photos, measurements, and diagrams, present final evaluations to buyers, sellers, investors, and agents, and collaborate with the Lead Appraiser to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Active Appraiser license or certification as required by state.
• 0–1 years of related experience in mortgage/appraisal is acceptable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts unbiased appraisal assessments based on data and guidelines.
• Documents on-site observations with photos, measurements, and diagrams.
• Draws land diagrams and prepares property value estimates.
• Presents final evaluations to buyers, sellers, investors, and agents.
• Collaborates with Lead Appraiser to improve processes and reduce rework.
