First American Mortgage Solutions is hiring remote Appraisers nationwide. You will conduct unbiased assessments, document site visits, and generate property value estimates in accordance with guidelines. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and an active state appraiser license; REO and HUD/FHA experience are a plus.

Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. The role offers remote work with flexible deadlines and a draw against a percentage fee split.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active Appraiser license or certification as required by state's regulatory agency.
• Experience in mortgage/appraisal industry preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines in client-driven timelines.
• Strong analytical and narrative writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts an unbiased assessment of market areas and data and develops an estimate of property value per guidelines.
• Documents on-site assessments with photographs, measurements, and demographic information.
• Draws land diagrams and other visual documentation.
• Considers all factors influencing property value including land, neighborhoods, trends, and features.
• Generates fee quotes and presents evaluations to clients.
• Partners with Lead Appraiser to resolve requests and improve processes.
• Participates in monthly Appraiser meetings.
• Meets department turn-time expectations and escalates as needed.
