Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking an experienced Certified Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a hybrid cloud environment across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role collaborates with vendors, architects, developers, and security teams to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable operations.

The position is primarily remote with Wisconsin residency required and occasional onsite attendance. Relocation within 30 days may be necessary, with long-term operational support and knowledge

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, developing, supporting major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 5+ years experience with infrastructure-as-code and containers.
• 5+ years with GitHub-based CI/CD.
• Experience with enterprise networking, observability, and cloud cost management.
• Experience with Windows and .NET environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud platforms (private/public).
• Review vendor cloud architectures and configurations.
• Identify risks in security, scalability, performance, and cost.
• Provide guidance on cloud networking, compute, storage, and databases.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub-based.
• Implement infrastructure as code and deployment automation.
• Ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements.
