Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies seeks a Certified Cloud Engineer to design, implement and operate a hybrid cloud environment across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will work with vendors, security teams and developers to ensure secure, scalable cloud solutions.

The role is largely remote with 90–100% remote work, occasional onsite attendance, and relocation support required if not already based in Wisconsin. Candidates should have strong IaC, CI/CD, and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and maintaining cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 3+ years in regulated environments with cloud.
• 5+ years of IaC experience.
• 5+ years of containerization experience.
• 5+ years of GitHub-based CI/CD.
• 5+ years in enterprise networking, observability and cloud cost management.
• 5+ years supporting Windows and .NET.
• Strong programming, scripting and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience securing and automating enterprise hybrid clouds.
• Experience transitioning new tech to long-term operational support.
• Strong written/verbal communication and knowledge transfer skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain hybrid cloud platforms.
• Review vendor cloud architectures, configurations and decisions.
• Identify risks related to architecture, security, performance and cost.
• Provide guidance on cloud networking, compute, storage, identity and security services.
• Support cloud services across AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent platforms.
• Collaborate with .NET teams on deployment, integration and APIs.
• Develop and support GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, IRS 1075).
• Document architecture, configurations and support requirements.
• Transfer knowledge to internal staff via documentation and mentoring.
