Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks an experienced Certified Cloud Engineer to support the development, security, automation, and long-term operation of an enterprise hybrid cloud environment across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The role is primarily remote with Wisconsin residency required and potential relocation within 30 days.

Occasional onsite work may be needed. You will collaborate with vendors, architects, security teams, and internal IT to design, implement, and optimize cloud

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, modifying, supporting, and maintaining cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• At least 3 years of cloud experience within a regulated organization.
• At least 5 years of infrastructure-as-code experience.
• At least 5 years of application containerization experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with GitHub-based CI/CD.
• At least 5 years of experience with enterprise networking, observability, and cloud cost management.
• Strong experience with Windows and .NET environments.
• Demonstrated ability to secure, automate, and support enterprise hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain hybrid private and public cloud platforms.
• Review and validate vendor-proposed cloud architectures, configurations, and implementation decisions.
• Identify architecture, security, scalability, reliability, performance, operational, and cost risks.
• Provide technical guidance concerning cloud networking, compute, storage, databases, identity, security services, monitoring, logging, and automation.
• Support cloud services across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or comparable platforms.
• Work with .NET teams on deployment, integration, APIs, containers, and environment management.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub-based delivery processes.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and repeatable deployment automation.
• Incorporate security, privacy, and compliance requirements into cloud architecture and implementation.
• Support identity and access management, encryption, network security, vulnerability management, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
