Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Cloud Engineer to support design, deployment, security, automation, and long-term operation of an enterprise hybrid cloud environment. The role involves collaboration with vendors, architects, developers, and security teams across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with an emphasis on IaC, CI/CD, and containerization.

The position is primarily remote, with Wisconsin residency required and occasional on-site attendance as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, developing, modifying, supporting, and maintaining AWS/Azure/GCP or other major cloud platform.
• 3+ years cloud experience within a regulated organization.
• 5+ years of infrastructure-as-code experience.
• 5+ years of application containerization experience.
• 5+ years of GitHub-based CI/CD experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise networking, observability, and cloud cost management.
• 5+ years of Windows/.NET environments experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain hybrid private and public cloud platforms.
• Review vendor-proposed cloud architectures and configurations.
• Identify risks in architecture, security, scalability, reliability, performance and cost.
• Provide guidance on cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, security, monitoring, and automation.
• Support cloud services across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or comparable platforms.
• Collaborate with .NET teams on deployment, integration, APIs, containers, and environment management.
• Develop and support GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
