Job summary

PSI Services seeks a Test Development Specialist to lead the full cycle of licensure examination development. You will perform content development, psychometric analyses, and client-facing activities from a remote US location with occasional travel.

The role requires a master’s degree in an assessment-related field and at least 3 years in test development. The position offers flexible hours around core business times with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in I/O psychology, measurement, education or related field (Ph.D. desirable).
• At least 3 years of professional test development experience.
• Experience in certification/licensure testing and psychometrics.
• Experience managing multiple projects with timelines and deliverables.
• Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of SAS/SPSS/SQL preferred.
• Experience facilitating standard setting or client workshops.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full cycle development for licensure examinations per client contracts.
• Design job analyses, develop content specifications, and review test items.
• Conduct psychometric analyses, standard setting, and pre/post-equating as needed.
• Prepare technical reports and client-facing documentation.
• Manage project portfolio to meet quality standards and timelines.
• Collaborate with clients on test development methods and best practices.
• Present findings at conferences and contribute to publications.
