Job summary

PSI Services is seeking a Senior Test Developer to contribute to item editing, item bank management, and test development across certifications. This role manages client programs, leads development meetings, and maintains PSI’s testing software, with flexible hours and remote work options, plus up to 20% travel for meetings and workshops.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in credentialing/test development, along with strong proofreading and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in professional test development of credentialing/certification exams.
• Experience with client advisory for large-scale testing programs preferred.
• Experience with project management processes preferred.
• Strong proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage clients’ item banks in proprietary testing software.
• Maintain and update items and their classifications in the item bank.
• Edit and proofread items for grammar, spelling, and style guides.
• Assemble test forms that meet criteria and document results.
• Facilitate test development meetings with client representatives and subject matter experts.
• Conduct training for item writers and monitor progress.
• Document decisions from test development meetings.
• Develop and maintain timelines for test development activities and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Communicate test development requirements and progress to clients.
• Maintain knowledge of proprietary testing software.
