Job summary

Centegix is seeking a field-first Sales Executive to own the Central Region (MN, ND, SD, NE, IA, WI, WY). You will develop pipelines, manage opportunities from first contact to closing, and represent the company at conferences and in education communities.

You will travel about 10% and operate from a remote home office, leveraging relationships, conferences, and your professional network to drive results in the education safety market.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in SaaS/education sales.
• Experience selling to K-12 districts or public sector is preferred.
• Proven full-cycle sales skills from prospecting to close.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel ~10% and operate from a remote home office.

Responsibilities

• Own the Central Region: MN, ND, SD, NE, IA, WI, WY for K-12 districts.
• Qualify inbound leads and drive opportunities to closure; maintain Salesforce records.
• Build pipeline via outreach, networking, and events in education communities.
• Develop relationships with superintendents and school safety leaders.
• Represent Centegix at conferences and partner with internal teams to close deals.
• Share market insights to optimize sales strategies.
