Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Informatics Specialist to design, implement, and optimize CDS solutions across the network. The role collaborates with clinical, operational, and IT teams to align CDS with evidence-based practice and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate brings clinical experience, Epic expertise, and a passion for improving workflows, caregiver adoption, and patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

Two years of clinical practice experience required.
Two years of experience with Clinical Decision Support tools required.
Equivalent CDS or clinical informatics experience may substitute for RN licensure.
Licensed to practice in Indiana (RN, LPN, MA) preferred.
Epic certification must be obtained within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

Implement, optimize, and govern clinical decision support tools across the network.
Serve as a CDS subject matter expert for BPAs, order sets, and medication-related alerts.
Collaborate with clinical leaders, operations, and IT to identify and deploy CDS solutions.
Analyze data and trends to drive workflow improvements and clinician adoption.
Support system-wide CDS initiatives, design, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Epic standards.
Champion innovation in clinical technologies to improve care coordination.
