Job summary

100 LCMC Health is seeking a CDM Analyst to support maintenance and optimization of the Charge Description Master (CDM). You will analyze charge codes, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer guidelines.

The role requires collaboration with clinical, billing, and coding teams to resolve discrepancies and improve revenue capture. Responsibilities include updating the CDM, documenting changes, and generating compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with chargemaster (CDM) management and charge capture processes.
• Knowledge of CMS, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and third-party payer requirements.
• Ability to audit CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and UB-04 billing.
• Strong data quality and analytical skills for CDM data reviews.
• Excellent report generation and communication of findings.
• Proficiency with Excel and Office 365 suite.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize the CDM to ensure accurate, current codes.
• Conduct regular audits of charge codes, procedures, and pricing.
• Update CDM by adding/modifying/deleting codes per regulatory changes.
• Document changes and communicate to clinical and billing teams.
• Analyze charge capture processes to ensure proper billing.
• Generate reports on CDM activity, trends, and compliance metrics.
