Job summary

Western Missouri Medical Center is seeking a Revenue Integrity Analyst / Chargemaster Coordinator to maintain the hospital CDM, ensure accurate charge capture, and support compliant billing practices across departments. This role serves as a liaison across Finance, Revenue Cycle, HIM, clinical departments, compliance, and IT to identify leakage and improve charge accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in Hospital Revenue Cycle, Chargemaster management, Revenue Integrity, Patient Financial Services, Hospital Billing, and/or HIM/Coding.
• Certifications such as CRCR, CRIP, CCS, CPC, CHFP, RHIA or RHIT preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Chargemaster (CDM) and ensure charge descriptions, CPT/HCPCS codes, revenue codes, modifiers, units of service, APC assignments, and pricing are accurate.
• Coordinate annual and ongoing CDM updates based on CMS, AMA CPT, HCPCS, payer and regulatory changes.
• Investigate charge edits and billing errors; analyze denied claims related to charging or billing configuration.
• Monitor charge lag and late charge activity; recommend workflow improvements to improve revenue capture.
• Perform routine audits to identify missing, duplicate, undercharged or overcharged charges and revenue leakage.
• Provide monthly revenue integrity dashboards to leadership and develop reports related to charge lag, missing charges, and denials by charging issue.
