Job summary

Premier Truck Rental seeks a Contract Driver to safely transport our fleet to customer locations and external yards across the United States, operating CMVs with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will maintain DOT logs, undergo required screenings, and deliver outstanding customer service while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and securing cargo according to federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• At least 2 years of CMV driving experience.
• Minimum age 21; ability to lift 50 lbs.
• DOT Physical completed with a valid Medical Card.
• Clean MVR and driving history.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CMVs and follow all traffic laws.
• Comply with Federal DOT regulations and maintain logs.
• Deliver excellent customer service to PTR customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Secure cargo and ensure vehicle readiness.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Report maintenance needs promptly.
• Operate with vehicles less than three years old.
