Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a CDI Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations for the Clinical Documentation Integrity team on a remote basis in the US. You will manage CDI assignments, staffing, and performance metrics while collaborating with facility leadership and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality documentation and adherence to CDI best practices.

The role requires at least 5 years of acute care CDI experience, 2 years of supervisory experience, and relevant credentials (RHIA/RHIT/RN/MD

Qualifications

• Must hold at least one credential: RHIA, RHIT, RN, MD, or MD-equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital CDI experience.
• Minimum 2 years of prior management or supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with encoder use and DRG assignment, including MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodologies.
• CCDS or CDIP certification is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert oversight and leadership for Clinical Documentation Integrity team operations.
• Assess and identify health system opportunities related to contractual requirements and CDI metrics.
• Support development and implementation of processes to improve clinical documentation performance.
• Coordinate priorities, track progress, and support CDI initiatives.
• Communicate with medical staff, departments, and facility leadership as needed.
