Qualifications

• 5+ years in clinical documentation integrity, risk adjustment, or HCC coding.
• Experience leading, coaching, and supervising teams with clear performance standards.
• Deep knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CMS-HCC risk-adjustment methodology; work with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the CDI team with prospective and concurrent chart review.
• Set expectations and ensure quality, productivity, and turnaround-time targets.
• Coach, onboard, and develop CDI specialists; manage onboarding and readiness for full assignment.
