Job summary

Guidehouse in Washington, DC seeks a Clinical Documentation Integrity Supervisor to support the CDI Manager in day-to-day operations across client engagements. You will oversee staffing, productivity, quality audits, and ensure alignment with contractual expectations and CDI best practices.

The role requires leadership in CDI team activities, collaboration with facility leadership, and ongoing support of CDI technology, dashboards, and reporting while maintaining HIPAA-compliant remote work

Qualifications

• Must hold at least one credential: RHIA, RHIT, RN, MD, or MD-equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital CDI experience.
• Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with encoder use and MS-DRG/APR-DRG methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily CDI program oversight including productivity, quality, education, training, auditing, and reporting.
• Lead staffing decisions and ensure adequate coverage across client engagements.
• Collaborate with facility leadership and client stakeholders to support CDI operations and technology use.
• Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and DRG methodologies.
• Support implementation and optimization of CDI dashboards and reporting tools.
