Job summary

Pro Integrate LLC is seeking a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) contractor for remote work in the United States. You will review inpatient records to ensure ICD-10 and CPT coding accuracy, assess clinical documentation, and evaluate AI-generated notes for coding quality.

Qualifications

• Active coding certification in CCS, CIC, COC, RHIA or RHIT or AHIMA/AAPC credential.
• ICD-10 coding experience in inpatient settings.
• Access to up-to-date ICD-10, CPT books and E/M guidelines.
• Currently working in medical coding, clinical documentation improvement, or a related role.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient records to ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding per guidelines.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness and coding integrity.
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical notes against real-world documentation and coding standards.
• Code AI-generated diagnostic and procedural information using ICD and CPT/HCPCS.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in diagnosis and procedure coding to maintain data integrity.
• Enter AI-generated patient information into inpatient/outpatient medical record databases.
