Job summary

Ladders seeks a Category Management Lead to drive category strategy and supplier performance within the Real Estate & Construction sector. You will own procurement programs, manage supplier performance, and align stakeholders in a remote-first environment.

Translate market intelligence into strategic recommendations, lead RFP processes, and help shape a disciplined supplier framework that delivers financial impact and compliant contracting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred, with a focus on supply chain or operations.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or facilities management.
• Knowledge of emerging procurement technologies is advantageous
• Strong skills in contracting, negotiation, and account management are essential
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Drive financial targets by executing seller category strategies independently
• Identify and qualify new suppliers using market intelligence and data analysis
• Contribute to the seller council to integrate best practices and innovations
• Create strategic solutions for commodities, including RFP management and bid analysis
• Liaise with internal partners for contract approvals and compliance reporting
• Develop and maintain a strategic supply partner framework at a senior level
• Prepare high-quality presentations for internal and external stakeholders
