Insight Global is hiring three remote Category Managers for a large healthcare provider. You will lead strategic sourcing across complex service-based categories, acting as the CEO of your category with full ownership of spend, suppliers, contracts, and stakeholder needs.

The ideal candidate is senior, self-directed, analytical, and capable of driving initiatives in a highly matrixed environment. Remote work is offered with national scope and autonomous oversight.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, procurement or related field.
• 6+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience owning and developing category strategies, not just executing sourcing.
• Able to manage complex categories with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong background in supplier negotiations, contracting, benchmarking and data analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence senior partners.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with minimal day-to-day direction.
• Data-driven mindset using spend analysis, dashboards and market intel.

Aufgaben

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned categories, including strategy, sourcing, contracting and supplier management.
• Develop and execute category plans and sourcing strategies with minimal oversight.
• Lead multiple complex initiatives within categories from strategy to execution.
• Build relationships with business leaders to understand priorities and requirements.
• Navigate a highly matrixed environment with competing priorities.
• Act as strategic advisor using data to guide decisions rather than just fulfill requests.
• Use spend analysis, benchmarking and supplier data to inform strategy.
• Monitor contract/purchasing compliance, supplier performance and cost utilization.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contracting efforts including RFPs and terms.
