Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Casualty Evaluator for a remote role with the flexibility to work from home nationwide (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). The position involves handling auto liability and personal injury claims across multiple states, with exposure up to $50,000 and occasional field considerations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Strong customer service orientation and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a virtual environment with option to work in an office setting.
• Handle mostly simple to moderate auto liability cases involving injury with unrepresented or attorney-represented claimants.
• May handle first-party Medical Payment and PIP.
• Investigate, negotiate, settle, and resolve injury claims under $50,000.
• Communicate with customers via written, telephone, and electronic means.
• Identify subrogation potential and initiate subrogation notices.
• Present cases for settlement within authority and negotiate thereafter.
