Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Casualty Evaluator for a remote-friendly role open nationwide with exceptions for Hawaii and Alaska. The position focuses on owning and resolving auto liability and homeowners-related injury claims with authority up to $50,000, across multiple states, including Colorado.

You will handle first and third-party claims, perform investigations, negotiations, and settlements, and work in a virtual environment with flexible options to be in an office setting as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ relevant work years.
• 2 years of related professional experience in claims or casualty work.
• Developing understanding of AAA claims policies and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns injury-exposure cases with settlement authority under $50,000.
• Handles 1st and 3rd party auto liability cases with and without representation.
• May handle 1st party Medical payments and PIP.
• Investigates, negotiates, and settles claims; negotiates within authority.
• Communicates in writing, telephone, and electronic means.
• May participate in catastrophes and occasional arbitration or deposition.
