Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is recruiting a Casualty Evaluator to handle owning adjuster duties for injury exposure and auto liability cases with exposure under $50,000. The role supports a remote-first environment across the United States, with occasional travel and weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities include investigating, negotiating, and settling claims, managing complex investigations and coverage determinations, and providing customer-focused service while collaborating with the claims team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ relevant work years.
• 2+ years of related professional experience and 2 years claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work extended hours or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle owning adjuster duties for injury exposure and auto liability cases.
• Investigate, negotiate, settle, and resolve claims under $50,000 exposure.
• Manage communications in writing, by phone and email in a virtual or office setting.
• Conduct complex investigations, interview witnesses, analyze evidence, and determine coverage.
• Present cases in settlements and assist in catastrophes or higher-complexity matters as needed.
• Support claims operations by routing tasks through queues and ensuring productivity.
