Qualifications

• High school diploma or 2+ years of directly relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient English communication (written and oral).
• Ability to work in a team and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Work in a virtual environment or office setting.
• Manage communications by writing, phone and email.
• Own/adjust claims when injury exposure identified for <= $50,000.
• Handle simple to moderate auto liability 1st/3rd party claims.
• May assist in catastrophes and simple homeowner losses.
• Investigate, negotiate and settle claims within settlement authority.
• Present cases to committees for higher settlements as needed.
