Job summary

Highway is seeking a Carrier Relations Specialist to engage carriers, respond to inquiries, and promote adoption of our freight tech platform. You will build relationships with carriers through high-volume outbound calls and provide top-tier customer service to ensure accurate operation of the app.

The role requires some remote work and on-call availability after hours, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on efficiency, issue resolution, and clear communication across teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation industry, preferably brokerage carrier rep or manager.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calls and building carrier relationships.
• Become SME on Highway's platform.
• Excellent communication in fast-paced, urgent environment.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Engages carriers through multiple channels to get truck postings and submit freight quotes.
• Makes high-volume outbound calls to build relationships with carriers.
• Responds promptly to carrier questions and ensures top-level customer service.
• Maintains the service of Highway's application through monitoring, analysis and review of issues.
• Makes and suggests updates to the application to address bugs and ensure accurate operation.
• Troubleshoots technical problems and provides individual solutions for users.
• Implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Summarizes complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Demonstrates responsiveness in communicating with internal and external teams while managing multiple priorities.
• Builds lasting relationships with carriers and app users.
• Some remote and on-call after hours, weekends and holidays.
