The candidate brings a Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work (or Nursing) and 5–7 years of related experience, along with appropriate licensure.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work or Nursing with 5–7 years related experience.
• Licensed Master’s Behavioral Health Professional (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC) or RN based on state contract requirements with BH experience required
• Must reside in North Carolina and be able to travel up to 10% to Raleigh/Charlotte
• Experience guiding care management teams and ensuring adherence to NCQA standards and contracts

Responsibilities

• Oversees and reviews care plans and service plans for behavioral health and social determinants.
• Conducts telephonic, digital, and site visits to assess member needs and coordinate resources.
• Provides guidance on complex care plans and triage to behavioral health providers.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and contract policies.
• Mentors care management staff and provides SME-level training on care plans and services.
