The position is remote with residency in North Carolina, with occasional travel to Raleigh or Charlotte for meetings.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master's degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work and 5–7 years of related experience.
• Licensed Master’s Behavioral Health Professional (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC) or RN per state contract requirements.
• Experience in care management and coordinating with providers for complex cases.
• Familiarity with NCQA standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care plans and care management for behavioral health and social needs.
• Provide expert guidance to care management teams and healthcare providers.
• Monitor complex cases and adjust care plans based on clinical changes.
• Train and educate care teams on treatment options, referrals, and benefits.
• Serve as SME for behavioral health and social determinant needs.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer regulations.
