Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to manage strategic accounts across Tampa, St. Petersburg, and surrounding markets.

You will diagnose business environments, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and drive portfolio utilization in complex health systems. The role requires several years of healthcare sales or account management experience, with preference for cardiology-related exposure and payor knowledge, in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Masters degree with 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Bachelors degree with 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• 3+ years of account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred.
• Healthcare sales and/or marketing experience in buying processes and decision making preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, executing compliant, innovative strategies.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives to enable sustainable utilization.
• Develop and execute account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaison(s) as appropriate.
• Meet with opinion leaders in Cardiology, Lipidology, Pharmacy, P&T Committee, etc.
