Job summary

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to cover the Tampa and surrounding markets. You will diagnose business environments within assigned accounts and plan/execute actions for product success across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

The role requires deep account management experience in healthcare and payor spaces, plus the ability to build relationships with hospital decision-makers and clinical leaders to drive portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced degree and 2+ years of sales/account management experience OR 4+ years with master's OR 6+ years with bachelor's.
• Experience with hospital and payor environments is highly preferred.
• Cardiology and dyslipidemia knowledge is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts and engage priority providers.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead initiatives enabling sustainable institution/system utilization.
• Develop account plans aligned to cardiovascular unit strategy.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaison as appropriate.
• Meet with hospital decision-makers and payor staff to influence product utilization.
• Present data and ensure compliant delivery within policies.
• Coordinate pull-through and access with sales colleagues.
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics.
