Job summary

Stripe is building a new function in Global Partnerships (PE&O) to oversee Card Network Compliance. You will develop programs addressing card network changes, ensuring Stripe and its users stay informed and compliant, and drive operational efficiency.

In this role you will establish processes, monitor mandates, and collaborate across product, engineering, and partnerships to implement robust controls and governance from ground up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payments with card networks and compliance.
• Understanding of acquiring platforms and card network interactions.
• Proficient with JIRA and card-network portals; able to collaborate with product/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Establish a release management process for card network mandates and inform cross-functional teams.
• Review biannual card network releases and coordinate with engineering and card network partners.
• Set up a framework to monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Create metrics and Jira dashboards to track release mandates and priorities.
• Oversee mandate intake and manage waiver requests with compliance and operations.
• Engage with external network partners through councils and strategic meetings.
• Advocate for Stripe within the card network ecosystem.
