Job summary

Stripe’s Global Partner Engineering and Operations team is building a new function to oversee Card Network Compliance. In this role you will develop programs and processes to address card network changes for Stripe and its users, staying informed about network announcements and driving operational efficiency.

You will help shape strategy from the ground up, collaborating with engineering, product, compliance, and partnerships to deliver scalable solutions that balance risk and growth for

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payments with card networks and compliance.
• Understanding of acquiring platforms and card network interactions.
• Proficient with JIRA for PM and tracking; familiarity with card network portals; comfortable with Google Workspace.
• Proven ability to partner with product and engineering to develop new processes and strategies.
• Strong program management and stakeholder influence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity while shaping a new program and function.
• Strategic thinker with cross-functional issue identification.

Responsibilities

• Establish release management aligned with card network mandates for Stripe and cross-functional partners.
• Review biannual card network releases; coordinate visibility and prioritization with teams.
• Monitor compliance program and conduct audits to drive continuous improvement.
• Create metrics and JIRA dashboards to monitor mandates for each release cycle.
• Oversee mandate intake process and manage waiver requests with compliance and operations.
• Engage with external network partners; advocate for Stripe within the card network ecosystem.
