Job summary

Stripe is expanding a new function to oversee Card Network Compliance. In this role, you will develop programs to address network changes and their impact on Stripe and its users. You will work across product, engineering, and partnerships to implement processes and drive operational efficiency.

You will build release management, monitor network mandates, and create dashboards to track progress. This role offers high visibility and the chance to shape a critical function within Stripe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the payments industry with card networks and compliance.
• Deep understanding of acquiring platforms and their interactions with card network products.
• Proficient in navigating JIRA for project management and tracking, plus Google Workspace for collaboration.
• Experience partnering with product and engineering to design new processes and strategies.
• Strong program and project management skills with stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to drive change with internal and external partners.
• Ability to shape a new program with minimal guidance and navigate ambiguity.
• Strategic thinker who identifies cross-functional issues and proposes innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Establish release management processes for Card Network mandates and inform cross-functional partners.
• Review biannual card network releases and align initiatives across teams.
• Create a framework to monitor compliance with card network requirements and internal policies.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to track mandates for each release cycle.
• Oversee the mandate intake process and manage waiver requests with Compliance.
• Engage with external network partners via councils, forums, and regular meetings.
• Advocate for Stripe within the card network ecosystem.
