Job summary

Stripe is standing up a new Card Network Compliance function. You will develop programs addressing card network changes and their impact on Stripe and users, ensuring timely awareness of network updates and driving operational efficiency.

This role offers a ground-floor opportunity to shape a dedicated function, aligning Stripe's interests with user outcomes and partnering across product, engineering, and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payments with card networks compliance.
• Understanding of acquiring platforms and card network interactions.
• Proficient with JIRA and card network portals for compliance.
• Collaborates with product and engineering on new processes.
• Strong program and project management and stakeholder influence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for internal/external partners.
• Ability to operate with minimal guidance while building a new program.

Responsibilities

• Establish a release management process for card network mandates.
• Analyze biannual card network releases and coordinate with teams.
• Monitor compliance with card network requirements and internal policies.
• Create metrics and Jira dashboards for releases.
• Oversee mandate intake and waiver requests across teams.
• Engage with external network partners in councils and meetings.
• Advocate for Stripe within the card network ecosystem.
