Job summary

DZYNE Technologies, based in Irvine, CA, seeks a Capture Manager to lead new business pursuits in the Effectors unit, spanning precision-strike and interceptor programs. You will own the full capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through award, engaging Army, Air Force, Navy, SOCOM, and DIU stakeholders.

The role requires DoD capture/PM experience, familiarity with FAR/DFARS, OTA, SBIR/STTR, and strong proposal development skills, with travel up to 10% and a remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in federal business capture or proposal management in defense.
• Solid DoD acquisition knowledge including FAR/DFARS, OTA, and SBIR/STTR.
• Experience across traditional ACAT and rapid acquisition pathways.
• Familiarity with ITAR/EAR; proficient in MS Office; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute winning capture strategies aligned with customer priorities.
• Lead all phases of capture and proposal development for FAR/OTA/MDTA programs.
• Engage government customers to shape requirements and acquisition strategies.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and inform pricing.
• Lead teaming strategy; identify partners and structure compliant teams.
• Generate compliant proposals with technical, management, and cost narratives.
• Collaborate with engineering and BD on basis-of-estimate and production readiness.
• Drive proposal activities from kickoff to final submission with compliance.
• Identify capture risks and mitigate threats across pathways.
• Maintain disciplined opportunity pipeline and post-award kickoff support.
