Job summary

The Chemours Company is actively seeking a Project Manager to lead capital projects across global sites. This role reports to the Senior Manager – Capital Projects and focuses on safety, quality, and innovation while coordinating with teams worldwide.

Based in a remote-capable setting, the PM will manage multiple projects from FEL through Start-Up, including design, procurement, construction, and controls. Strong communication and supplier coordination are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years managing capital projects.
• Minimum 3 years in a chemical plant environment.
• Minimum 2 years in field construction or contract management.
• Experience managing $1M-$20M projects.
• Ability to travel ~40%.
• Strong communication and leadership by influence.
• Experience with engineering/design contractors.

Responsibilities

• Identify project team resources and secure staffing.
• Ensure team understands roles, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Establish effective communications with project stakeholders.
• Lead front-end loading: scope, estimates, funding requests, schedule, basis.
• Proactively drive scope, cost, schedule and resources.
• Identify deliverables and ensure timely quality.
• Manage changes within budgets per MOC policy.
• Lead project processes per Chemours Project System.
• Lead risk identification/mitigation discussions.
