Job summary

Schlumberger is hiring a Kitchen Helper for remote camp locations on the North Slope with a 3-week on/3-week off rotation. The point of hire origin is Anchorage, AK, and the role includes assisting cooks, food preparation, and maintaining sanitation across dining and kitchen areas.

Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED, 1 year in a commercial kitchen or related training, Alaska Food Workers Card/ServSafe, pass pre-employment checks, and be able to stand 12 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a commercial kitchen or related training.
• Alaska Food Workers Card/ServSafe Certification upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing and fitness requirements.
• Ability to cooperate and work as part of a team in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and coordinate activities within a food service area.
• Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in dining, kitchen, and storage areas.
• Stock food service areas with products and materials.
• Clean dishes and equipment and return to storage in an orderly manner.
• Notify supervisor if safety or sanitation standards are not met.
