Job summary

Energy Job Shop is seeking Kitchen Helpers to join a camp catering facility on the North Slope, AK. You will assist cooks, keep areas clean, and help maintain a safe, compliant kitchen in a remote camp setting.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to follow directions, and enjoy teamwork. Requires a high school diploma or GED, Alaska Food Worker Card, and physical ability to lift 50 pounds. This is a year-round, full-time position with competitive wages.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one year of relevant work experience or training.
Valid State ID, Driver License, or government-issued ID.
Current State of Alaska Food Worker Card.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to work a rotational schedule of at least 11.5 hours per day for a minimum of 21 consecutive days.
Pass pre-hire drug test, breath-alcohol test, occupational fitness test, criminal background check, and computer-based testing.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Knowledge of emergency procedures and cleaning supplies.
Ability to adhere to strict company and OSHA policies and procedures.
