Job summary

Mindrift is seeking an experienced CAD modeller to join a remote, project-based team. You will train and evaluate AI agents operating in a real CAD environment, designing part geometry and building reference solutions for long engineering tasks.

You will collaborate with CFD engineers and contribute to simulations, using your 5+ years of CAD experience across CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar. A professional CAD license is required, and Python/GitHub proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master's or PhD is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar).
• An active professional CAD licence of your own (required).
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts.
• Work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
