Job summary

Octave CAD Implementer in a fully remote US role reports to the Professional Services Manager. You will participate in requirements definition, lead data modeling, configure Octave COTS products, and design solutions for public safety customers.

The role includes delivering training to end users and system administrators, testing interfaces, and supporting customer acceptance testing, with up to 50% travel within North America.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sciences, Computer Sciences, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in technical application development.
• Experience delivering end‑user training on Octave software.
• Ability to lead technical tasks within a project team on production systems.
• Strong customer relationship and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in functional requirements definition and analysis.
• Create complex workflow through requirements definition and analysis.
• Lead data modeling and data conversion activities.
• Configure and install Octave COTS products.
• Lead design of simple customer solutions and deliver training.
• Develop and test custom applications and interfaces; conduct acceptance testing.
• Support customer acceptance testing of Octave products.
• Travel up to 50% within North America.
