Job summary

Octave Federal, the Hexagon US Federal subsidiary, seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to accelerate federal public safety opportunities by delivering demonstrations, architectures, and proof-of-concept work.

You will translate complex requirements into end-to-end public safety solutions spanning dispatch, C2, mobile, cloud, and geospatial domains, collaborating with account executives, product, and engineering.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience with public safety technologies or mission-critical software.
Experience in customer-facing technical roles (solutions engineering, sales engineering, etc.).
Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government customers.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong communication and proposal/documentation skills.
Willingness to travel up to 50% to support customers and events.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and develop public safety solution architectures.
Deliver demonstrations, workshops, and proofs of concept for federal customers.
Collaborate with Account Executives, product, and engineering to create complete solutions.
Address technical questions, product limitations, and integration requirements.
Support RFIs, RFPs, and proposal content with technical detail.
