Job summary

Octave is seeking a CAD Implementer for a Fully Remote US role based in Madison, AL. You will participate in requirements, design workflows, model data, configure Octave COTS products, and lead customer-facing activities including training and acceptance testing.

This highly technical role involves designing simple solutions, delivering training, and supporting customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, with up to 50% travel within North America.

Qualifications

• Degree in sciences, CS, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in technical application development.
• Experience delivering end-user training on Octave software.
• Experience leading technical tasks within project teams on production systems.
• Strong customer relationship and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America.
• PSAP or field operations experience highly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Collaborative and proactive team player

Responsibilities

• Participate in functional requirements definition and analysis.
• Create complex workflow through involvement in functional requirements definition and analysis.
• Lead data modeling and data conversion definition activities.
• Performs complex configuration and installation of Octave’s COTS products.
• Lead overall design of simple solutions for customers.
• Deliver product training (end users and system administration).
• Design, develop, install and conduct acceptance testing of custom developed applications and system interfaces.
• Lead database administration activities.
• Lead support of customer’s acceptance testing of Octave’s products.
• Other duties as assigned
