Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Solutions Engineer to act as the technical bridge between CAD/CAM workflows and custom manufacturers across North America. You’ll partner with Sales to articulate value, demonstrate end-to-end design-to-production processes, and translate customer needs into scalable, library-based solutions.

This fully remote role requires experience in millwork/CAD/CAM, strong communication, and travel up to 25% for events.

Qualifications

Background in architectural millwork, cabinetry, or related industries.
3+ years in Solutions Engineering/Sales Engineering or technical consulting in manufacturing software or CAD/CAM.
Strong ability to build trust with shop owners, engineers, and production managers.
Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software and libraries/post-processors.

Responsibilities

Own the technical pre-sales cycle for CAD/CAM from discovery to close.
Lead tailored product demonstrations of CAD-based design to manufacturing workflows.
Translate customer requirements into scalable CAD/CAM solutions (libraries, automation, outputs).
Guide engineer-to-order and custom manufacturing environments.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align needs with capabilities.
Represent the voice of the customer to Product, Engineering, and Sales leadership.
Refine demo environments, libraries, and manufacturing outputs.
Travel up to 25% for trade shows and customer visits.
Support education sessions, webinars, and Lunch & Learn events.
