Job summary

Mindrift invites an experienced CAD engineer to join a remote, freelance project focused on training and evaluating AI agents within a CAD environment. You will design and optimize part geometry, build reference solutions, and assess agent iterations in collaboration with CFD engineers.

Requirements include a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree, 5+ years CAD modelling, an active CAD licence, and proficiency in Python and GitHub. English at least B2.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's/PhD a plus).
• 5+ years hands-on CAD modelling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, Creo or similar).
• Active professional CAD licence required.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English level B2 or above.

Responsibilities

• Design part geometry in a real CAD environment for long engineering tasks.
• Build reference solutions and evaluate agent attempts.
• Train and evaluate AI agents collaborating with CFD engineers.
