HireHawk Inc. is seeking an experienced case manager to support a California Workers' Compensation practice for a law firm. You will own routine case progression, communicate with clients, and keep hearings and filings on track.

You will coordinate medical treatment, monitor authorizations, and escalate complex questions to attorneys. Fluency in English (Spanish helpful) and availability during Pacific Time are required for this remote, full‑time contractor role.

Formación

• Hands-on U.S. personal injury case management beyond filings.
• Knowledge of California Workers' Compensation procedures, insurance claims, and WCAB processes.
• Understanding of medical treatment coordination, authorizations, and utilization review.
• Strong English communication to explain updates clearly and empathetically.
• Available to work during Pacific Time business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Manage CA workers' compensation cases with independent day-to-day oversight and timely follow-ups.
• Provide updates to injured workers in English and Spanish and follow up on treatment participation.
• Coordinate medical appointments, treatment plans, referrals, and follow-ups with providers.
• Monitor authorization requests and utilization reviews, escalating barriers to attorneys as needed.
• Drive case closure by timely communication with insurers, providers, and attorneys.
• Prepare, review, and organize claim forms, reports, and records for accessible documentation.
• Track deadlines, hearings, and filings under California workers' compensation procedures.
• Support attorneys by gathering documents and coordinating follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate case information in cloud system including communications and deadlines.
• Coordinate with admin team while owning client communication and case progression.
