You will work remotely from California with field activities across the U.S., traveling to conferences and client meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in medical communications or related agency BD.
• Proven track record of developing new business with pharmaceutical/biotech companies.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders in Medical Affairs or Medical Information.
• Strong consultative selling and value-based communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within California and the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
• Identify target companies and senior decision-makers within prospective client organizations.
• Build relationships with Heads, VPs, Directors, and other senior stakeholders within Medical Affairs and Medical Information.
• Generate and develop qualified new business opportunities across life sciences organizations.
• Lead the BD process from prospecting to closing and contract negotiation.
• Represent the organization at relevant industry conferences and events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
