Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Refuel Floor Technical Director to supervise BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance, including disassembly, reassembly, and in-vessel work. You will lead multi-disciplinary GEH and contingent teams, drive project planning, and provide SME guidance on reactor maintenance and tooling.

Role requires strong leadership, safety culture, and ability to interact with senior customer and supplier management on technical and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering and 5 years in BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance.
• Or a High School Diploma with 10+ years in BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance.
• Previous role as Refuel Floor Technical Director or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of union and non-union personnel on BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance.
• Lead project delivery planning, risk identification and mitigation, and contingency planning.
• Coach multi-disciplinary teams across GEH and contingent staff.
• Support proposal development with technical input on labor, tooling, and logistics.
• Engage with senior customer/supplier management on commercial and compliance issues.
• Provide SME on reactor maintenance, in-vessel tooling, and GEH OEM equipment.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables in line with procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Drive GVH processes and maintain procedural compliance.
• Travel as required and perform other assignments as needed.
