Job summary

Moda Health is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to gather and document business requirements, analyze processes, and lead small to mid-sized IT projects. The role involves SDLC activities, testing, and producing technical documentation while working remotely as a full-time position.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, plus experience in a collaborative project environment and the ability to read and work with SQL as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in analysis, either technical or business related.
• Ability to facilitate large and small group meetings or working sessions.
• Strong problem solving, time management and critical thinking skills.
• Proven procedural and technical writing abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a project team and with peers.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with business and technical personnel.
• As applicable, ability to read, write and execute SQL statements.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
• Document details functional specifications and review acceptance criteria.
• Create functional specs and translate requirements to Moda standard software.
• Support short-term stabilization of existing systems and processes.
• Develop test scripts, reports, and procedures for improvements.
