Job summary

Nexis Solutions, part of LexisNexis and the RELX family, is seeking a Business Development Rep to drive SaaS and DaaS solutions in a defined Ohio-based territory. You will partner with internal teams to expand the customer base in the SMB corporate for-profit sector, delivering value through thoughtful, data-driven proposals and executive-ready presentations.

This role operates in a matrixed environment, includes travel to events 1–3 times per year, and offers growth opportunities across product

Qualifications

• Direct sales experience in a professional service, software or SaaS environment.
• Ability to present and connect to executive level audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel to events (1–3 times per year).
• Experience working in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing new business opportunities in the SMB corporate for-profit sector using value/consultative selling.
• Communicating the value of LN’s products and services via presentations and written proposals.
• Managing pipeline, forecasting, activity tracking and territory planning to drive success.
• Defining account strategies in collaboration with Nexis Solution Sales, Product and Marketing teams.
• Preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly action plans.
• Utilizing Salesforce and other automation tools.
