Labcorp seeks a remote Business Development Director, Early Drug Development to lead field sales in the Crop Protection & Chemicals and Environmental, & Human Safety services across the West/Central U.S. territory.

This field-based role requires a proactive, hunter mindset and strong client relationship skills. The position offers a pay range of $80,000–$120,000 per year, with bonus/commissions and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of sales experience selling scientific products/services directly to Crop Protection and Chemical or pharmaceutical/biotech segments.
• Experience with mid-to-senior level interactions.
• Experience with CRM platforms and sales forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Achieves annual sales plan and targets for assigned accounts/territory.
• Establishes, nurtures, and grows client relationships at appropriate levels.
• Leads client meetings, proposals, and capabilities presentations; hosts client visits.
• Uses tools to identify and prioritize clients and opportunities.
• Collaborates with sales team, SMEs, and operations to win multi-unit projects.
