FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Business Development Director for Commercial Process Development to own the full BD cycle—from identifying opportunities to negotiating scope and closing signed contracts—focusing on early‑phase programs that scale from cell line development through pre‑clinical manufacturing to Phase 2.

You will build executive relationships, translate client needs into solutions, and drive growth across the CDMO network with a global, patient‑centred mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is essential.
• 5+ years in the CDMO industry, with program management or commercial facing roles.
• Strong IP/legal understanding and ability to write business documents.
• Proven negotiation and excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent FUJIFILM Biotechnologies' commercial PD capabilities to regional organizations; engage C-suite and technical stakeholders.
• Expand CDMO business by prospecting, qualifying, and building a healthy pipeline converting to signed agreements.
• Develop and present account plans to leadership with strategic wins, whitespace, and milestones.
• Set up strategic contractual agreements aligning value, risk, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Legal, Commercial Solutions, and Program Management to support customer needs.
